Bobtails
Signature Truck Systems bobtails are designed and built by our skilled craftsmen using the latest technology and quality materials. We include thoughtful options such as center console boxes, bucket holders, hose reel options, and so much more because we’re propane people, and we understand the features that make a big difference.
Our bobtails are available in standard or drop deck design. Drop deck designs feature a one-piece deck and replaceable one-piece fenders. Decks are available in in stainless steel or aluminum. Diamond tread plate and smooth aluminum are options available.
Standard sizes from 1,200 U.S. Water Gallons (USWG) to 8,500 USWG are available, with the option to custom build a bobtail delivery unit that can be built on customer-supplied chassis, or let us offer preferred pricing on your chassis needs.
Standard features include:
- 3” Blackmer pump with 3” Marshall Excelsior internal valve and 2” automatic bypass valve
- 2” LC Meter with electronic register
- 3-function Base radio remote system
- Aluminum open deck
- Hannay aluminum hose reel with 150 ft. of hose
- Gauges: float, thermometer, and pressure
- 2” spray fill with 3-1/4” Acme and 1-1/4” vapor with 1-3/4” Acme
- Betts LED lights, ID/brake lights, backup lights, and one swivel work light
- 20 lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher and bracket
- Chock blocks and holder
- One internal heavy-duty steel baffle
- Single axle fenders equipped with rear mud flaps
- Air-operated internal valves and emergency shutoffs

Crane Service Trucks
We offer the most thoughtfully designed crane service trucks on the market, made by people who have been in the industry for a long time and know what it’s like to work out in the elements. From flip-up cabinet doors to keep the operator dry while working, to an in-cab aluminum center console box, to an on-board swing-out vise, our staff is committed to building the right truck for each specific customer’s operation.
All of our truck bodies are built in-house out of our Michigan facility with on-site engineers, so we can control the quality and provide the maximum level of customization. In addition, everything we produce is signed off on with a signature by the lead technician and a member of the management team because we want our customers to know we stand behind our products.

Transloaders
We proudly offer chassis-mounted transloaders for swift maneuverability to increase the overall speed and convenience of unloading railcar and filling bulk transports with propane or butane. Our in-house engineering and on-site fabrication allows for custom, application specific design. The design and manufacturing of the stair/platform assembly (mobile unit) complies with the principles outlined in ANSI/SAIA A92.2 – 2015 standards.
